At the same time, as a precaution, the Delhi government has announced the closure of schools in south-east Delhi on Monday.

Addressing the media, Delhi PRO PRO MS Randhawa gave information about what has been revealed in the investigation so far in the Jamia violence case. He said that there was a protest at around 2 pm yesterday, including the local people. Our staff faced them with the least force. Around four and a half, the protesters marched towards Mata Mandir Marg and set the bus on fire.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement has come out for the first time regarding the Jamia violence. He has tweeted that this incident is unfortunate. Debates and differences are part of democracy, but damage to public property and disturbing normal life can never be part of democracy. He has asked people to maintain brotherhood and ignore rumors.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted expressing concern over the violent protests in Jamia on Sunday. He said that I am very concerned about the declining level of law and order in Delhi. To get peace back in the city soon, I have sought time to meet Home Minister Amit Shah.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has targeted the government over the Jamia Milia Islamia case. He said that the government has attacked the Constitution and the students. He (police) entered the university and attacked the students. We will fight for the constitution, we will fight against this government.

Students are peaceful demonstrations by making human series

The performance of the students in Jamia on Monday once again took a big shape. Students are peacefully protesting the police brutality on campus yesterday by creating a human chain. Along with this, a large number of police forces are also stationed outside Jamia. Slogans of Delhi Police Hi-Hi are also being raised.

Many rumors are spreading about this incident, my request is that students should not pay attention to such rumors. Only those who are involved in this incident will be acted upon.

Around 30 policemen have been injured during this demonstration while two SHOs have suffered fractures. A policeman is in ICU. We have registered two FIRs. The crime branch will investigate this violence in every way.
