Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series will be launched in India on 12 March. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has informed about bringing the Redmi Note 9 series to India through its social media channel. Apart from this, invites have also been sent to the media.

Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro may be introduced in the company’s new series. They will replace Redmi Note 8 and Redmi 8 Pro in the market. Remember that the previous handsets of the Redmi Note series were launched in October last year. The handsets of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series are known for the affordable price. In such a situation, you can expect the price of Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro to be less than Rs 20,000. Apart from this, the features will also be very powerful.

If you look at the image released on Monday from the Twitter account of Redmi India, it is known that the phones of the Redmi Note 9 series will come with four rear cameras. It seems that the phone will have a square camera setup. We have seen this kind of camera setup in Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Huawei Nova 5i Pro. Some users are comparing this setup to the camera setup of the iPhone 11 Pro model. However, Apple’s phones come with three rear cameras.

In addition to the camera setup, the teaser image indicates a more refreshed rate display in the new phones of the Redmi Note series. We can expect a 90Hz display in the phone.

Similar microsites have been made live on the website of Mi.com and Amazon India. Points of select features of the Redmi Note series have been received from here. The microsite mentions new designs, processors and gaming features. Similarly, the company is promoting fast charging technology in the latest Redmi Note model.

Xiaomi has also produced a video which has been made public on the YouTube channel of Redmi India. The video has a glimpse of the history of the Redmi Note series.

The Redmi Note 4G was launched in November 2014. It was the first 4G Android smartphone under Rs 10,000. We can expect 5G phones to be brought in the new Redmi Note phones. Its price will also be much lower than the recently launched Realme X50 Pro 5G and iQoo 3 with 5G support.

In January, Manu Kumar Jain, managing director of Xiaomi India, announced that it will launch the first phone with Snapdragon 720G processor. It may be that the phone is part of the Redmi Note 9 series.
